The ‘Tamil Heritage Month’ Proclamation and Flag Raising Ceremony, organized by the Maritime Tamil Welfare Association (TNVM) at Province House with the recognition of the Nova Scotia Government, was successfully and beautifully concluded. The event marked a historic and proud milestone for the Tamil community.
With the noble aim of elevating the pride and prominence of the Tamil language and heritage, the ceremony stood as a significant moment of recognition. Sincere gratitude was extended to Minister Brendan Maguire, MLA Derek Mombourquette, and MLA Krista Gallagher for their support, recognition, and for honoring the community with the official proclamation and flag raising.
A special and heartfelt appreciation was conveyed to all TNVM members who attended the event, proudly demonstrating unity and Tamil spirit. Their presence and support reflected the strength and solidarity of the community.
